The continuing military incursions described in Psalm 83 between Israel and her neighboring nations have been constant and frequent over the last seventy-five (75) years. These ongoing skirmishes and armed conflicts lead to the war described in Ezekiel 36-39.
Why is the Ezekiel war so pivotal in prophecy? The Lord God promised to reveal three (3) unmissable, undeniable, and unmistakable End Time events. He promised that the entire world would witness these to prove the veracity of His Word before the Tribulation years.
The first was Israel's reconstituted status as a nation on May 14, 1948. The second is the current Israel-Hamas/Hezbollah conflict, which is part of six prior armed conflicts the world has witnessed since 1948. The third will be the coming Ezekiel war (April 2027).
Remember, the End Times started May 14, 1948, and will last until the end of the seven (7) years of ‘Tribulation’ at the Battle of Armageddon and Jesus Christ’s “Second Coming.” When will that be? Our clue is that it will be after the treaty ratification ends the war between Israel and her next enemies, led by a coalition of Iran, Russia, and Turkey, in the last ten days of April 2027.
Does that sound confusing? God’s word throughout the Bible is complex by design. For those who refuse to establish a spiritual relationship with God, scripture is ‘foolishness’ (1 Corinthians 1:18). That said, prophecy can still be daunting and appear convoluted. Only when we re-establish a spiritual relationship with God does His living spirit within us reveal how scripture starts to make sense within its biblical puzzle pieces as they fall into place.
Let’s quickly review: we currently live in the End Times. The End Times will end with the Battle of Armageddon at the end of the seven (7) year Tribulation period. The Last Days are the second (2nd) half of that seven (7) year period. All seven (7) Tribulation years will bring death and destruction worldwide from climate and cosmic anomalies, as well as manmade atrocities.
We currently live in the ‘Church Age,’ which started two thousand years ago with Christ Jesus's death, resurrection, and ascension to heaven. The Church Age will end with the ‘Rapture’ of Christ believers, living and dead, at mid-Tribulation.
Perhaps we should be aware of the most important and impactful person involved in the coming Ezekiel war treaty process to be negotiated, brokered, and signed between Israel and her Ezekiel war enemies. He will become the ‘antichrist’ at mid-tribulation.
As we approach the future events described in prophecy, we continue to gain more clarity about their positioning and timing on the End Times continuum. Knowing how, when, and why these linked events happen gives a better understanding of prophecy's value and purpose.
Although people worldwide will see these future prophetic events unfold in real-time, only those who recognize them as prophecy will know the magnitude ahead of their occurrences.
God has promised and shared these events through His love and mercy so we can witness and know where we are on this End Times path. God has revealed that the closer we move toward the end, the easier these events are to identify. He has provided these three unmissable, undeniable, and unmistakable events for those willing to understand the importance of His warnings.
What’s the punch line? Only those familiar with prophecy will recognize the significance of these End Times revelations. The turmoil we currently witness daily around the world is the ‘birth pains’ Christ warns us about. (Matthew 24).
The seven (7) years of Tribulation will be the ‘labor pains’ (1 Thessalonians 5). The first three-and-one-half (3 ½) years are also known in prophecy as the “Wrath of Christ” due to the climatic, cosmic, and human calamities that will occur during this forty-two (42) month period.
The Last Days are the second half of Tribulation seven (7) years. These three-and-one-half (3½) years are noted in scripture as the ‘Great Tribulation’ or “Wrath of God”. It will be a time of intense and widespread global death and destruction, the likes of which the world has never known nor experienced. (Matthew 24).
