HOW CLOSE?
PART 1: Time Frames
How close are we to experiencing “End Times” events prophesied and promised by God’s word?
If you doubt or don’t believe in God, this is a moot inquiry.
However, for those conscious of God’s existence and presence within the universe, this question is an opportunity to draw attention to where it perhaps has been innocuous or absent. All who are living today are experiencing the ‘End Times’. Those who are unaware of God’s prophetic words are oblivious to this fact. This is not to condemn. It’s merely an observation, yet one easily remedied.
How can we know without question these supposed ‘End Times’ are upon us? We are currently witnessing ‘precursor events’ that are ‘stage setters’ for larger or better-known End Times events. The coming ‘antichrist’, the ‘Rapture’, the ‘Second Coming’, the ‘Third Temple’, the ‘Ezekiel War’. However, if we’re unaware of the specifics of the better-known labeled events, it’s easy to miss their current precursors altogether. Those are in evidence every day, as reported by worldwide media outlets.
By His love and concern for humanity. In line with His plan for spiritual redemption and reconciliation. God promised specific events the world would witness as this plan comes closer to fruition. The End Times have specific timetables.
Time frames revealed in scripture so observers would have both events and their timings to coordinate this unfolding reveal prior to his return to spiritual dominion.
The span of the End Times is from May 1948 until Christ Jesus steps foot in Jerusalem once again. Within this time frame are seven (7) years of ‘Tribulation’. Seven years of death and destruction wrought upon the inhabitants of earth through the wrath of both God and Satan’s ‘apprentice’, the ‘antichrist’.
These seven years are divided into two separate yet equal halves. Each is 1260 days, or 42 months, or 3 ½ years in length. The first half will occur after the Ezekiel War, yet before the reveal of the antichrist. The second half will occur between the kingdom reign of the antichrist, and the (second coming) arrival of Christ Jesus to establish His one-thousand-year reign known in scripture as the “Millennial Kingdom”.
Bible scripture calls the first half, the “Wrath of Christ”. The second half is called the “Wrath of God”. These differences refer to the destructive fallout intensity that Earth’s remaining inhabitants will experience during these seven years. A “mid-Tribulation” ‘Rapture’ will occur between these two halves of the time frame.
