PART 2: Tribulation Starts
The destructive nature of the Tribulation years is an awareness that should not be overlooked or discounted. These seven years will affect everyone alive at the time, literally. No one will escape the judgments rendered against evil and the corruption of humanity through these two halves of retribution. Jesus Himself describes the turmoil and destructive fallout in this Last Days period as a time “unlike any before in human history, and never to be more dangerous hereafter.” (Matthew 24)
How can we know when these seven years will be?
How can we prepare for their arrival?
How can we guarantee our spiritual survival by missing the final three-one-half years of tribulation? Those known in scripture as the “Last Days”?
We know these seven years will be during the End Times. Is there a way to know more precisely when they will start and end? Yes!
God so loves the world that He Himself has given prophetic warnings as to the arrival of these seven years. God uses prophecy as both a promise to believers in Christ Jesus and as a warning to all who have ears to hear.
Prophecy gives us three (3) warnings pertaining to the coming seven (7) years of tribulation. The first is Ezekiel 37, which describes the reunification of Israel as a nation state. This event occurred on May 14, 1948. It was the first, last, and only time in human history such an event happened.
The second warning is one we are witnessing today. Psalm 83 tells of the conflicts Israel will be embroiled in as a reborn nation-state. This prophecy describes Israel’s armed conflicts it will engage in with its regional neighbors. Since Oct 2023 we have been witnessing the eighth such event.
The third and final prophecy (Ezekiel 38) describes a planned military invasion of Israel. Set to commence when Israel stands totally alone. Isolated politically from every country and nation. During this prophetic event God will reveal Himself as Israel’s protector.
This single event will reveal to the world God’s interest and presence. Most people will miss its prophetic significance. They’ll discount its viability, or simply ignore its scriptural warning. However, it’s this event that sets the ‘End Times’ clock in motion, leading to the seven years of Tribulation.
